Fruit will be too heavy and break your graft or kill itself. Not worth it, cut off the fruit right when it grows, taking too much energy away from the growth of the tree.
You want the tree to focus on growing its branch thicker and preventing shock.
Cut off the leaves, wait until the limb completely heals.
